1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using ExLog (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

ExLog is provided by ZeroByte Technologies ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"). These Terms constitute the entire legal agreement between you and ZeroByte Technologies regarding your use of the App.

2. License to Use

2.1 Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use ExLog on your personal Apple devices for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, translate, or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, transfer, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for commercial purposes

2.2 Third-Party Components

ExLog may include third-party software, libraries, and services. Your use is subject to their respective licenses and terms. We have attempted to provide accurate attribution; if you believe there are inaccuracies, please contact us.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use ExLog. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Parents or guardians are responsible for their children's use of the App.

3.2 Account Creation & Security

• You are responsible for creating and maintaining your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and current information during registration
• You are solely responsible for the security of your password and account
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your negligence

3.3 Lawful Use

You agree to use ExLog in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use does not violate any local, state, national, or international laws.

5.1 Your Content

Transaction data, notes, and other information you create in ExLog ("User Content") is your property. We claim no ownership of your User Content. You retain all rights to your data.

5.2 License to Us

By creating content in ExLog, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content to provide the App's services. This license is solely for operating the App and does not include rights to sell, commercialize, or otherwise exploit your data.

5.3 Feedback & Suggestions

If you provide feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you agree that we may use this information without compensating you. We are not obligated to implement any suggestions.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Ownership

ExLog, including its source code, design, graphics, logos, and functionality, is owned by ZeroByte Technologies or licensed from third parties. All intellectual property rights are reserved.

6.2 Trademarks

"ExLog," the ExLog logo, and other ExLog trademarks are the property of ZeroByte Technologies. You may not use these marks without written permission.

6.3 Limited License for Personal Use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view and interact with the App's content solely for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any App content without permission.

7. Third-Party Services & Links

7.1 Third-Party Integrations

ExLog uses third-party services such as Firebase, Apple Cloud Services, and others. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service outages or violations of their terms.

7.2 External Links

ExLog may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Use external links at your own risk and review their terms and privacy policies.

7.3 No Endorsement

Links to third-party services do not constitute our endorsement. We make no representations about third-party services' quality, legality, or appropriateness.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

ExLog is a personal finance tracking tool. It is NOT:

• Financial advice or recommendations
• Tax advice—consult a professional tax advisor
• Legal advice—consult a lawyer for legal matters
• Investment guidance—invest at your own discretion
• A substitute for professional services

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. ExLog disclaims liability for financial losses resulting from your use of the App.

8.3 No Liability for Data Accuracy

ExLog automatically parses SMS messages and may contain parsing errors. While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for:

• Parsing errors or incorrect transaction categorization
• Missing or duplicate transactions
• Incorrect amounts or payee names
• Data loss due to device failure or app crashes

8.4 Limitation of Liability

We do not warrant that ExLog will be:

• Uninterrupted or error-free
• Free of viruses or other harmful code
• Compatible with all devices or iOS versions
• Available at all times
• Suitable for any particular purpose

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZeroByte Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your User Content or submissions
• Infringement of third-party rights by your use of the App
• Any claims by third parties related to your account or use

10. Account Suspension & Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You can delete your account at any time through App Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, we will begin deleting your data within 30 days.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in illegal or fraudulent activities
• You harass or abuse other users or staff
• You exceed resource usage limits (spam, excessive requests)
• We need to comply with legal requirements

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Your User Content will be deleted or retained according to our Privacy Policy. Sections that survive termination include Intellectual Property Rights, Limitations of Liability, and Indemnification.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of ExLog after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
